Kevin Davis
BA(Hons), MArch, RIBA, MFPWS
Director & Chartered Architect

Kevin studied Architecture, Town and Regional Planning at the University of Sheffield. Kevin worked in private practice on a variety of primary healthcare and secure projects before joining DJD Architects. Kevin is project architect for a range of private and affordable housing developments, mixed use and commercial projects. Kevin is also a Party Wall Surveyor and On Construction Domestic Energy (SAP) Assessor. Kevin has successfully completed the RIBA Principal Designer course. Kevin is Treasurer of the Worcestershire Society of Chartered Architects.

James Pugh
BA(Hons), DipArch, RIBA
Director & Chartered Architect

James has spent over ten years with the practice since completing his studies at university, having worked his way from Senior Assistant to Director. Involved in a breadth of commercial, residential and domestic projects, James enjoys opportunities to influence project design at both the largest scale and in the smallest detail. A natural inquisitiveness in how things work, alongside an interest in sustainability, and an appreciation of aesthetics, drives a design approach that is both rigorous and human. James is an accredited On Construction Domestic Energy Assessor for SAP and EPC of new build dwellings and has successfully completed the RIBA Principal Designer course.

Matthew Adams
BA(Hons) [Interior Architecture], BA(Hons) [Architecture], MArch, ADPPA, RIBA
Director & Chartered Architect

Matthew has been involved with a range of residential, commercial and historic building projects, including the first rural exception house for which the Practice gained planning consent on the grounds of outstanding design. Matthew has developed expertise in inclusive design. Including, wheelchair accessible dwellings, assisted living accommodation for young adults with learning impairments, and environments for people with dementia. His architectural research continues to explore design for people with physical, sensory and cognitive impairments. Matthew is an accredited On Construction Domestic Energy Assessor for SAP and EPC of new build dwellings, and has successfully completed the RIBA Principal Designer course. Matthew is also a governor of the Worcester Sixth Form College and has served as Chair of the Worcestershire Society of Chartered Architects.

Joanna Moyle
BSc(Hons)
Practice Manager

As Practice Manager Joanna’s role includes overseeing the general operation of the business, monitoring and improving our Quality Management System and contributing to strategic and planning activities. Joanna studied Zoology at the University of Durham and has previous experience of commercial and financial management roles with organisations ranging from multinationals to SMEs.

Olivia

Olivia Firth
BA(Hons) MArch, PGDip, RIBA
Chartered Architect

Olivia has experience in residential, commercial and education projects. During her postgraduate studies at the Birmingham School of Architecture she undertook research into post-war housing estates, the good, the bad and the ugly! She enjoys making architectural information engaging and easily accessible for all and working towards a more sustainable future. Olivia has successfully completed the RIBA Principal Designer course.

Angharad Rees
BA(Hons) MArch
Senior Architectural Assistant

Harry works across a range of projects at all work stages and has particular experience in the technical design and delivery of our housing projects. During her undergraduate studies Harry designed a kitchen garden education centre and has a keen interest in food sustainability, permaculture and landscape architecture. Harry has built on her interest during her Masters, looking at various aspects of sustainable design including overheating and embodied carbon.

Emma

Emma Heeks

Architectural Assistant

Emma completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Liverpool. During her studies Emma developed proposals for a film school and explored her interest in the design process. Emma enjoys working alongside others and being part of a team.
